It also features stalks of wheat and the tall palm, motifs of sustenance and of the land itself. Each piece is accented with manajel zigzag bands, the connective borders that frame the panels. Bedouin embroidery of the Negev favors indigo grounds and amuletic cross-stitch motifs, with red signaling a married woman and blue a widow in older traditions.. Ready to ship.
