Kanz Tatreez was born from a lifelong love for Palestinian embroidery, creativity, and the desire to preserve a tradition that has been passed down through generations. We proudly opened our doors in August 2023 as one of the first boutiques of its kind in the United States, with a vision of creating a space where people could experience the beauty of authentic, hand-stitched Palestinian tatreez in a way that felt personal, welcoming, and accessible.

Long before Kanz became a business, tatreez was something that brought my mother and me together. Some of our favorite moments were spent dreaming up new designs, pairing unexpected colors, and imagining fresh ways to honor a timeless tradition. While we have always held deep respect for classic Palestinian thobes, we also loved exploring new interpretations—creating pieces that remained true to our heritage while reflecting the individuality and style of the women who wear them.
