Welcome to Kanz Tatreez. By accessing or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before making a purchase or using any of our services.
By accessing, browsing, or using this website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website.
You agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are prohibited from:
All prices on our website are listed in United States Dollars (USD). We strive to ensure the accuracy of product descriptions and pricing; however, errors may occur. Kanz Tatreez reserves the right to:
Product availability is subject to change. Because many pieces are one-of-a-kind artisan works, items displayed on the website may sell at any time and cannot be guaranteed until an order is confirmed.
All transactions are processed in USD. International buyers are responsible for any currency conversion fees charged by their bank or payment provider. Exchange rates are determined by your financial institution at the time of purchase and may differ from published rates. Kanz Tatreez is not responsible for any additional costs arising from currency conversion.
Placing an order on our website constitutes an offer to purchase. Kanz Tatreez reserves the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including but not limited to:
Payment is processed at the time of order placement through our secure third-party payment processor. Your order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email.
Shipping terms, timelines, and costs are outlined in our Shipping Policy. By placing an order, you agree to the terms described therein.
International orders ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). At checkout you pay the live carrier shipping rate, quoted in U.S. dollars. Applicable import duties, customs fees, and destination taxes (such as VAT or GST) are assessed by the destination country's customs authority and are due on delivery, paid by you β they are not collected or prepaid at checkout. Where available, your checkout summary shows an estimate of these charges for transparency; the final amount is determined by your local customs authority.
Import duties and taxes are outside Kanz Tatreez's control. If you have questions about the charges assessed on your order, please contact us and we will help however we can.
Kanz Tatreez complies with the regulations of the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC). We are unable to process orders or ship products to countries, regions, or individuals subject to U.S. sanctions. Orders placed from or destined for OFAC-sanctioned countries will be declined. For a current list of sanctioned countries, please refer to the U.S. Treasury OFAC website at https://ofac.treasury.gov/sanctions-programs-and-country-information.
United States orders are final. We do not alter garments and we do not accept returns: no refunds, no exchanges, no store credit, and no return window β and therefore no restocking fee. Each piece is made by hand and no two garments share exactly the same measurements, so please take your own measurements and add at least 2 inches for comfort before ordering. A larger garment can be altered by a seamstress; a smaller one cannot be made bigger.
Consumers in the EU / EEA and the United Kingdom have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, which applies regardless of this section and carries no restocking fee. It does not extend to goods made to your own specifications β a garment cut to measurements you supplied β under Article 16(c) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the equivalent UK provision; a ready-made one-of-a-kind piece keeps the full right.
Nothing in this section affects your remedy for an item that arrives damaged or defective. Full details, including condition requirements and our handling of damaged or defective items, are set out in our Exchange & Return Policy.
All content on this website, including but not limited to photographs, product descriptions, brand elements, logos, graphics, and text, is the property of Kanz Tatreez and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works of, publicly display, or otherwise use any content from this website without the prior written consent of Kanz Tatreez. Product photographs, in particular, represent significant investment in showcasing each unique artisan piece and may not be used by third parties for any purpose.
Kanz Tatreez guarantees the authenticity of every piece we sell. Our garments are made by our own team of 80+ full-time seamstresses working in Palestine and Jordan, hand-sewn by Palestinian and Jordanian women. We control the entire hand manufacturing process end to end β from cutting through the final stitch β rather than sourcing finished pieces from third parties, which is how we are able to stand behind each piece's authenticity.
Kanz Tatreez does not issue a Certificate of Authenticity or any other third-party authentication document with a purchase, and no statement on this website should be read as promising one. If you have a good-faith concern about the authenticity of a piece you purchased from us, contact us with your order number and we will look into it with you. This authenticity guarantee does not create a return, refund, or exchange right beyond what is already set out in Β§6 (Returns & Exchanges) above and in our Exchange & Return Policy; it is a statement about how our pieces are made, not a separate remedy.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Kanz Tatreez, its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of this website, any products purchased, or any inability to use the website.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or your use of the website shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific product or service giving rise to the claim.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Arizona, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in the State of Arizona.
For EU/UK consumers: Nothing in these Terms shall affect your mandatory rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence. If you are a consumer in the EU, you may bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence. You may also refer a dispute to a certified alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity in your country. Note: the European Commission's central Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) platform was permanently discontinued on 20 July 2025 under Regulation (EU) 2024/3228 and is no longer available; consumers should now contact a national ADR body directly.
Kanz Tatreez reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
