A hand-stitched thobe you no longer wear, returned to our care β and store credit toward the piece you will.
Some pieces outlast the season of a life. A thobe that no longer fits, or no longer suits the way you dress, is not a thobe that has stopped mattering β it is one waiting for someone elseβs hands. Where the embroidery was worked stitch by stitch, we would rather bring it back into our care than watch it fold away in a cupboard.
Nothing here is automatic. There is no calculator on this page and no instant figure, because a hand-embroidered garment cannot be appraised by a form. We look at what you send us, and we write back to you ourselves.
Step 1
Describe the garment in your own words β where the tatreez is from, roughly how old it is, and anything you know of its history β and photograph it from every angle. We will get back to you within 48 hours of submitting.
Step 2
Every submission is read by a member of our team, never by a calculator. If we can take the piece, we write to you with the store credit we are able to offer. If we cannot, we say so plainly and tell you why.
Step 3
If the offer suits you, you post the garment to us at your own cost, with tracking β a tracked parcel is the only way either of us can be certain where an heirloom is on any given day.
Step 4
Once we receive your garment, inspection takes up to 48 hours. If everything matches what we were shown, the store credit is issued to your account. If the piece does not pass, we pay to send it back to you β though your original outbound postage is not refunded.
