A thobe carries a story — whose hands stitched it, what it was worn for, who wore it before you. When a garment like that is too worn, too small, or simply too precious to keep as it was, we can take its embroidery and fabric and reimagine it into new pieces of your own.

A member of our team reads every inquiry personally and writes back to you. Together we work out what the garment can become and what it should stay.
The tatreez is lifted and re-set by hand into the pieces you agreed on. Nothing is cut and nothing is charged until you have said yes to the plan.

Photographs of repurposed thobes are being made now, and they will appear here as they are finished. Until then the proposition stands on its own: one heirloom thobe, several new pieces, each carrying the embroidery it was born with.
