This is a hand-embroidered Palestinian thoub (thawb), made by hand using traditional tatreez (Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery). Worked on crepe, a fluid luxury satin-weave with a soft matte drape. It is the falahi village style, rooted in the everyday tatreez of Palestinian peasant dress. Each piece is worked in the fallahi cross-stitch (tatreez) that forms the backbone of Palestinian village embroidery, each stitch counted by hand. A contemporary Palestinian design that draws on traditional tatreez vocabulary while speaking to a modern wardrobe. From the Treasures of Palestine collection. Ready to ship.
