This is a hand-embroidered Palestinian bridal thoub, made by hand using traditional tatreez (Palestinian cross-stitch embroidery). Worked on crepe, a fluid luxury satin-weave with a soft matte drape. It is a modern style that reinterprets traditional tatreez for a contemporary wardrobe. The embroidery carries the olive branch, zaytoun, an emblem of peace, rootedness, and the groves that anchor Palestinian life. Each piece is detailed with hand-sewn beading that catches the light across the embroidery. A contemporary Palestinian design that draws on traditional tatreez vocabulary while speaking to a modern wardrobe. From the The Kanz Bride collection.
