International ordering isn't open yet — we currently ship within the United States only. When it opens, we'll ship on a Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU) basis: you pay the item and the live carrier rate at checkout, and any import duties, VAT, or customs fees are collected by the carrier or customs authority when your order is delivered — never prepaid by us. The details below describe how shipping to Germany will work.

Tatreez is Palestinian hand embroidery — patient, stitch-by-stitch work carried out by our own team of seamstresses in Palestine and Jordan, who see the piece through from start to finish. When a piece ships to Germany, it carries that craft with it: the same hands, the same needle-and-thread tradition, now part of a home in a new country.

Standard international shipping to Germany takes 7-14 business days. All orders include full tracking and insurance coverage.

When it opens, orders to Germany will ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): import charges are due on delivery, paid by you. German import VAT (MwSt) is 19% of the declared value. We are not publishing a customs duty estimate for hand-embroidered apparel yet — duty depends on the garment's tariff classification, and we will not quote a figure we cannot stand behind. German customs or the carrier will assess it before your piece is released.
Our prices are listed in USD. Your payment provider will convert the charge to Euros at the current exchange rate. Most German banks offer competitive conversion rates.
