Tatreez is Palestinian hand embroidery — patient, stitch-by-stitch work carried out by our own team of seamstresses in Palestine and Jordan, who see the piece through from start to finish. It's a long way from the Eastern Mediterranean to Japan, and every piece that makes the trip carries that craft with it: the same hands, the same tradition, now part of a home on the other side of the world.

International shipping to Japan typically takes 7-14 business days. All packages include tracking and full insurance.
International ordering isn't open yet — we currently ship within the United States only. When it opens, orders to Japan will ship Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU): import charges are settled on delivery, paid by you. Japan's consumption tax is 10% of the declared value including shipping. We are not publishing a customs duty estimate for hand-embroidered apparel, and we are not applying any trade-agreement preference such as the US-Japan Trade Agreement: that preference turns on rules of origin, and our garments are hand-embroidered in Palestine and only shipped from the United States, not made there. Japan Customs or the carrier will assess what is owed.
